Earlier today, HONOR has officially announced that the HONOR MagicWatch 2 will be available in Malaysia on 20 December 2019 onwards starting from the price of RM699. In terms of the features that smartwatch come with, the Magic Watch 2 comes equipped with up to 14 days of battery life and a built-in microphone and speaker module.

Just recently, several promotional images of what seems to be the upcoming HONOR Watch Magic 2 has been posted up on weibo.com showcasing what might be the final design of the smartwatch. Based on the image, it seems that the watch sports the familiar tachymeter scale on the outer rim, 2.5D glass as well as two physical buttons that the user would interact with.

Xiaomi recently posted a few teaser images on their Mijia Weibo account recently, showcasing what seems to be the upcoming Mi Watch which looks very similar to the Apple Watch. While the majority of the details of the aforementioned device remain a mystery, the image did hint that the smartwatch comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100.

Huawei has announced that the Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm variant will be available from today onwards at all Huawei Stores across Malaysia. Huawei has also stated that if you were to purchase the smartwatch which is currently priced at RM799, they will also throw in a Watch GT 2 Strap which is worth RM69 for free.

Garmin has announced that they will be hosting the Garmin Venu Roadshow in Midvalley East Atrium, from 9 October until 13 October 2019. In terms of the available colours and pricing, the Venu is available in Black and Rose Gold and it is priced at RM1799 at launch.

Earlier today, Garmin recently released the Garmin Venu GPS smartwatch in Malaysia priced at RM1799. The watch is mainly marketed towards users who are more fitness aware, as it comes with dozens of features such as all-day stress tracking, Body Battery energy monitor, activity tracker, and more.

Earlier this morning, Garmin has announced that they have officially released the Garmin Fenix 6 series premium multisport GPS watch starting from the price of RM2999. The Fenix 6 series will have three different variants including the Pro from RM2999, Sapphire from RM3950 as well as the most expensive variant, Pro Solar from the price of RM5699.

OPPO filed a patent called “Wearable Electronics” on September 2018, which hints at the possibility that we could see a smartwatch manufactured by OPPO with the ability to fold its display. Once unfolded, the display would be more than two times larger than the original screen size when done properly.

Android Wear 2.0, which was supposed to be released in Q4 2016, was delayed, and is now finally seeing the light of the day. The long awaited Android Wear 2.0 update is now official. In collaboration with Google, LG had announced their Watch Style and Watch Sport smartwatches, the first smartwatches to come pre-installed with Android Wear 2.0. The Watch Style is priced at $249 (about RM1100) for titanium and silver, and $279 (about RM1240) for the rose gold, while the Watch Sport is priced at $349 (around RM1550) in titanium.
