Qualcomm has revealed that its Snapdragon mobile processor lineup will be used by Samsung in its upcoming flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Moreover, Qualcomm also revealed that the Galaxy S23 series will be Snapdragon-exclusive, meaning that Samsung won’t be utilising its in-house Exynos chipsets for the flagship series next year.

In our smartphone reviews, we tend to show a benchmark score to portray its performance capability. While a benchmark isn't everything, it does show a good indicator of a chipset's level. For the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, it seems that its performance is now on par with Apple's A15 Bionic chipset.

As mentioned before in our previous news, the new Snapdragon 8 leads the way into a new era of premium mobile technology. This includes 5G, AI, mobile gaming, camera, WiFi and Bluetooth technologies.

If you recall, Qualcomm announced that the next-gen Snapdragon will have a new name. While there's no official word yet, it's very likely to be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. On that note, the chipset may have gone through a benchmark test on AnTuTu with over 1 million points.
