As 2020 comes to a close, developers are now using Android 11 and updating the software on selected smartphones over time. So far, Xiaomi is the only company that has rolled out Android 11 software update on a few Xiaomi phones. While other Android users will have to wait, Sony just announced their roadmap for the update.

Previously, it was said that the Sony Xperia 1 will be making its way into the Malaysia market which was surprising since Sony Mobile did withdraw quietly. But that's all changed now, thanks to an official statement by Sony Malaysia. The price, however, will be RM4299 and it's set to appear at the Sony Expo 2019 on 30 August 2019.

As some of you might have heard - it was reported that Sony Mobile has already withdrawn from the Southeast Asia market silently and that's most unfortunate (because that includes Malaysia as well). While there was no official statement from them, they are still alive and kicking in MWC 2019 and one of our writers, Jim managed to get to check out the latest smartphones.
