WhatsApp is now one step further to protect its users. The messaging platform will now hide everyone's online status from strangers by default. With the latest update, people who are not in your contacts will not get to know if you're online or when you were last online.

The augmented-reality trailer has a background replacement feature, which lets the user take a Stranger Things themed selfie. The Stranger Things themed selfie can then be shared onto your favourite social media platform such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more.
