    (Updated) Disney+ Hotstar's "additional" subscription plans in the Apple App Store explained

    Updated: Disney+ Malaysia has reached out to us to clarify the confusion. They said at present, there is only one plan for consumers in Malaysia who are subscribing directly from Disney+ Hotstar, which is RM54.90 for three months. The monthly and annual pricing reflected in the app is the pricing for Indonesia. Since Indonesia is also using Disney+ Hotstar, their monthly and annual package plans are also reflected in the Apple App Store.

    It seems that Apple One subscription service is now officially available in Malaysia starting from the price of RM19.90 for the Individual plan, while Family plan will be priced at RM33.90 a month which can be shared up to 5 people. In terms of the benefits, customers who signed up for the subscription plan will be able to gain full access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, as well as up to 200GB of iCloud storage.
