In a collaboration between Shell Malaysia and Boost e-wallet, more than 800 Shell outlets across Malaysia will officially support payment via the Boost App starting April 2019. To give a little more information regarding the Boost E-Wallet, it is a mobile app that stores digital currency which then can be used to make purchases and payments to partnered services.

Telekom Malaysia recently blasted out e-mails stating that the Unifi Basic Plan which costs RM79 for 30Mbps, will continue to have unlimited internet quota all the way until 31 March 2019. After that, the internet quota of 60GB will be imposed and going over the aforementioned quota will have bandwidth speeds cut down to as low as 512Kbps.

In conjunction with the Malaysia Day Celebrations which is happening on the 16 September 2018, Celcom will be offering residents in Sabah their Celcom Home Fibre and Celcom Business Fibre with up to 50% lower price for speeds up to 100Mbps. All existing Celcom Home Fibre 120, Celcom Home Fibre 150, and Celcom Home Fibre 180 will gradually upgrade towards the 100Mbps by the end of September 2018 at no extra cost.

A pop-up has recently appeared on Unifi’s official website that the customer is required to send in a 30 day notification prior to ending their subscription with Unifi starting August 2018. Based on the pop-up, you can give the 30 day notification either through their official website, live chat service on their official website, on their Facebook Page, Twitter, or through [email protected] email address. 30 days after termination notice, customers are required to head to the nearest TMpoint nationwide to follow up with the termination process. Previously we have reported that TM Unifi had announced their unifi Basic Plan which has speeds of up to 30Mbps. But there's a catch, customers who subscribe to the Basic Plan is capped at 60GB data quota, it is only available to households who have a total income of less than RM4500 and it is available exclusively on the TM Unifi's official website.

Starting this month, Telekom Malaysia has announced that they will be introducing a new Unifi 30Mbps plan for less than RM100 a month aimed towards the B40 income groups of the Malaysian population. The main difference between this plan as compared to the existing Unifi plans available is the lack of an IPTV which is typically included.
