During the Computex 2019 which is held in Taipei of Taiwan, Lenovo has unveiled the world’s very first 5G-capable laptop with a theoretical download speed from anywhere between 1Gbps to 10Gbps. This allows it to stream up to 8k media and AR/VR content, with little to no latency as well as higher stability.

Mark Zuckerberg just announced on his Facebook page that Hugo will be joining the Facebook team, specifically the Oculus team.

He has been instrumental in the international expansion of the brand around the world, and he will now leave the company after spending three and a half years with them.

It seems that the trend to follow this year is patents on folding smartphones. Take LG for example. They have just filed a patent where they are positing the idea of a foldable smartphone that can change from a smartphone to a tablet form in a flip.

It seems the rising trend for 2017 will be foldable phones. Samsung is said to have one phone coming soon this year, and apparently Nokia is working on something as well, if this patent recently unearthed is any indication.

A social media post by tech evangelist Robert Scoble states that Apple and Carl Zeiss are apparently teaming up to produce their own Augmented Reality glasses for the masses. Something akin to the Google Glass, the Apple AR glass may add a more immersive experience to the users of the iOS ecosystem.
