Twitter recently announced that free Twitter users will have more limitations put upon them, namely, more daily limits on the number of DMs or Direct Messages that they can send. According to an official tweet from Twitter Support, the move is to help reduce spam, but it seems like another incentive to sign up for the verified version of Twitter, which is Twitter Blue.

Twitter is reportedly adding a new feature into its mobile app that allows users to get notifications when there are new tweets that match a particular search term. Called ‘Search Subscribe’, the new feature was found inside the latest version of Twitter Alpha.

Popular social media platform Twitter is currently experimenting with a new feature that helps protect users’ peace of mind. Called ‘unmentioning’, the feature allows you to remove yourself from conversations where you’re mentioned in.
Announced by the company’s Twitter Safety account, the feature is now available for some users on the web version of the platform. The tweet also showed a GIF of the feature in action which is rather straightforward.

The world’s richest person as well as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk is now also the largest shareholder of the popular social media platform Twitter. Musk, who himself is a prolific Twitter user, now owns 9.2 percent of the company after purchasing a whopping ~RM12.1 billion in stock.
CNBC broke the news yesterday after spotting a US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing on the purchase. With the news of Musk’s Twitter stocks purchase, share prices of the social media company actually went up to more than 27 percent.

The Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) has today warned Malaysians that it has never appointed any third parties to assist in the recently announced 2022 Special Withdrawal. Taking to its official Facebook account, EPF reminded Malaysians to be careful with fraudulent ads by scammers that are currently widespread on social media.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the government has agreed to allow for another EPF withdrawal of up to RM10000 for Malaysians under 55 years old. This would be the fourth EPF withdrawal scheme since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic after i-Lestari, i-Sinar and i-Citra.
