Since the instalment of the App Tracking Transparency in April 2021, Apple introduced an anti-privacy policy that gives you the option to allow third-party apps to track your data or not. It's been a year since then, so is there any impact from that?

Twitter has introduced quite some new features in recent years. However, not every one of them was able to win users' hearts. Earlier, the company announced that it had to take away Fleets, an Instagram Stories-like feature, as "it hasn't seen an increase in the number of new people joining the conversation with Fleets like it hoped." Now, the social media platform is serving something new called Communities, and it's what we've seen on its rivals.

People often take social media lightly, posting things that they probably shouldn't. That's not a problem for platforms like Twitter, as you can just delete your tweets quickly. But what if something you post long ago comes back to bite you in the behind?

Twitter first announced that it was looking into subscriptions earlier this year. The company wanted to let Twitter users monetise their content and started beta testing Super Follows in June. Now, it seems that Twitter is done with testing.

Not long ago, Twitter announced its take on an Instagram Stories-like feature and released it as Fleets. The feature is a familiar one by allowing users to share content that disappears in 24 hours. However, the company has observed that the feature is not performing well as expected. With that said, it has been decided that Fleets will be gone by 3 August.

Remember that the Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)'s Twitter page got frozen? That was way back in January and now after six months, the MCMC has set up a new Twitter account called @MCMC_Rasmi.

Earlier this year, Twitter unveiled a new subscription feature called Super Follows. The idea is to provide content creators (and Twitter) with another means to earn some extra income. Now, it seems the feature could be released anytime soon.

Again, Twitter is working on another new feature that allows users to express more emotions like we're doing on Facebook. Recently, we've seen the social media platform testing features like Tip Jar and Super Follow. This new one could more interesting as it'll be available to all users instead of targeting to monetize the platform.
