If you guys are having fun with the reaction buttons on Facebook, you're going to appreciate this newfound feature on Twitter. Jane Manchun Wong, a tech blogger who often discovers hidden code in apps, has found out that Twitter will be bringing different emoji reactions to tweets. Therefore, is Twitter finally letting us react to tweets instead of just pressing the 'love' button?

You might not know this but back in 2017, Twitter used to have a public verification program and it was shut down. Now it seems that the company is planning to relaunch it back and it was spotted by @wongmjane with some evidence for the Twitter app.

Earlier today, Facebook recently unveiled a new app called Venue, which was made to take on Twitter when it comes to events as it is able to display user interactions during the event via hashtags. However, it is best to take note that the app isn’t focused on fan commentary which is quite different compared to Twitter.

Some of us thought of it as just another spat between political figure and private companies. But it looks like the small spat between US President Donald Trump and social media companies has blown out of proportion. Yup, Trump has signed an executive order that is aimed at social media companies like Twitter and Facebook.

A recent tweet from Twitter’s official account mentioned that they will be rolling out a new feature, which allows you to specify who can reply to your tweets. While the new feature is only available to a small percentage of Twitter users, we can expect it to be rolled out somewhere around June 2020 onwards.

The battle against COVID-19 is far from over and goes the same for false information around the Internet. Some companies are putting on the effort against this, such as WhatsApp limiting forwarded messages or Facebook showcasing legit COVID-19 news. As for Twitter, they too have a plan which is to put on warning messages.

Based on a statement by @PSErebus on Twitter, it seems that the Sony PlayStation 5 is expected to be unveiled on 20 November 2020. While not much is officially known in regards to the exact tech specs of the aforementioned console, we do know that it is expected to be priced at USD499 (~RM2162).

Instagram recently made an announcement on their Twitter account stating that they will be rolling out a feature, which allows user to send and receive Instagram direct messages via a desktop browser. While there’s no official information in regards to when the aforementioned feature will be available in Malaysia, we do know that Instagram plans to roll the update out global in the coming weeks.

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture(Motac) is now facing criticism by netizens after allowing the Malaysia Travel Fair 2020 to proceed. Despite the Prime Minister’s call to postpone or cancel all forms of events and gatherings, the event was held at PWTC from 13-15 March and it attracted a large amount of crowd during that period of time.
