Beam Malaysia today announced that in conjunction with the 15th General Election (GE15), it is helping Malaysians perform their civic duty by offering discounts on their e-scooter rides across Klang Valley. Happening from today until 20 November 2022, the #BeamToVote promotion allows Malaysians to easily hop on and off a Beam e-scooter to enjoy 15 per cent discounts on all rides.

In conjunction with the upcoming election in Malaysia, the Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia (SPR) has released a 10 Steps chart online to ensure proper voting measures. It is noted that the usage of mobile phones is prohibited.

Previously, the European Committee (EC) voted for all devices to use USB-C ports. Now they have decided to carry out another enforcement - better phones and tablets battery life and spare parts. According to sources, draft proposals have already been published this week.

We have talked about this before, but it seems that the European Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee has voted on having a common port for all devices. In case you were under a rock, this is an initiative for all tech manufacturers to use USB C ports including Apple.
