While most of us are stuck at home these days, some people still need to get out on the roads. For them, Waze is constantly adding new features to improve the user's experience. In the latest update, Waze added a new alert feature for when you're crossing railroads.

There are two navigation apps that Malaysian always rely on, which are Google Maps and Waze. The people used it not only to search for destination but also the nearest petrol stations, R&R, and other places. Here are the latest features that Waze have rolled out.

Now, Waze released a new feature to help drivers to plan out their routes.

In a collaboration between Waze, U Mobile and SMART tunnel, it is now possible to use navigation apps such as Waze and Google Maps while driving inside the SMART Tunnel. This is thanks to a bunch of Waze Beacon which utilizes Bluetooth technology in order to transmit GPS and traffic data, instead of relying solely on mobile data.

Technology can't always be working perfectly. Sometimes, there will be some technical issues creeping in to "spice up your life". Currently, several famous iOS apps are crashing down and the source of the problem hasn't been located yet. However, the public is suggesting that Facebook is the one to blame for this issue.

Waze has recently introduced the Waze Beacon which is a battery-operated electronic that transmits real-time traffic data to devices in locations where GPS signals could not be received such as a tunnel. The aforementioned beacons are not exclusive to Waze as they can be used by any application that requires location data.

Touch ‘n Go is the most used paying system in the highways by Malaysians and one common problem we often face is an insufficient amount of credits. Today, the company announced that the Touch ‘n Go zero-fee reload points are now available on Waze to make reloading easier for users during their journey on the road.

Travelling seems to be much more convenient recently with two of the most popular navigation apps in Malaysia like Google Maps and Waze. Today, Waze has updated a new feature to all the Wazers which will show the estimated toll price on a designated route.
