    OpenSignal recently announced test results of Malaysia's 6 main mobile operators in terms of 4G signal availability and download speeds. The results point to Yes followed by Maxis leading the pack which includes Celcom, Digi, U Mobile and Webe.

    Thanks to webe's #webenow campaign you can now get their unlimited everything webe mobile plan for just RM79 even if you're not a TM or P1 customer and don't have a Webe certified phone. As before, you still have to have an 850 band capable smartphone and you're not allowed to turn it into a mobile hotspot, but asides from that you can still make unlimited calls, SMS, surf the Internet and stream video and music endlessly. No news how long this offer is available.

    Webe's 1 simple plan is finally open to the public

    After plenty of teasers, Webe's 1 simple unlimited mobile Internet plan is finally open to Malaysia's public. Featuring unlimited Internet data, calls, SMS and no contract the plan is available for RM199 but with discounts (RM60 off if you have a Webe certified phone + RM60 off if you are a P1/TM customer) you can get it for as low as RM79 a month.     WeBe digital officially launches with single simple unlimited data service plan

    Confirming their earlier announcement in June, TM and WeBe digital have officially announced their single simple unlimited mobile data service plan starting from RM199 a month with subsequent discounts amounting to RM79.

    There didn't seem to be any specific release dates but they mentioned WeBe digital will be open to the public in Q4 of 2016. No WeBe specific devices are expected and there will be more webe850 online activities coming soon. For now, you can register your interest at the WeBe digital site.

However, according to CC Puan, the CEO of Webe, these marketing gimmicks are nothing more than just pure mind games run by telcos. Webe recently released five short videos featuring CC Puan, where he reminded consumers to not fall for anything fancy promised by any telcos, including Webe themselves.     Rumours: More Webe leaks, this time, full details available for the Pioneer invite-only plan

    The exclusive mobile plans we have been dying to get from Webe may not have released yet, but the folks at Lowyat.net discovered a Webe invitation page that is supposedly only for Webe invited individuals. Said page is now unavailable but you can see it for yourself below. The page reveals the name of the plan being the Pioneer plan and is meant for staff to try out from 31 March 2016 to 6 May 2016. After 31 July 2016, these subscribers will be converted to the normal consumer plans which are set to be announced and revealed on 1 August 2016. We've since confirmed this with TM staff who said they've registered for the WeBe starter kit already.

    Some of you may have heard of the hype from WeBe recent rumors about its groundbreaking mobile telco plans which we earlier guessed to be revealed today. Unfortunately, the long-awaited conference is just about WeBe revealing itself as a rebrand of P1, and not much talk about WeBe itself as a mobile telco. But from the conference we did receive a "not fixed date" for a possible WeBe telco launch, which could probably happen at the end of this year.
