Ever had someone bug you on WhatsApp the moment you're connected? Sometimes we just don't want to be disturbed, but people might ignore our 'DND' status. In that case, maybe the best way is to not appear online. Well, here's how that feature could look like if implemented.

WhatsApp has been extensively working on new features recently as we already saw the new voice previews and group chat features. Today, the company is now testing a new uncomplicated visual feature to remind users that their chat and calls are encrypted.

If you haven't updated to iOS 15.2 yet, you might want to hold off first. According to 9to5mac.com, it seems that many iPhone users cannot access WhatsApp after updating the latest software. But in some cases, WhatsApp crashes immediately after tapping on it even without the software update.

WhatsApp is now one step further to protect its users. The messaging platform will now hide everyone's online status from strangers by default. With the latest update, people who are not in your contacts will not get to know if you're online or when you were last online. 

WhatsApp has been working on a few new features lately like the Reaction feature, the Speeding Audio Messages feature as well as a new privacy-centric feature. With the new feature, you can now make your message disappear but you need to manually activate it.

WhatsApp has been constantly working on new features recently and one of them is the new Reaction feature. The team has been working on this new feature for months now, although the reports shows the app is still trying to make improvements for this new feature, it seems the launch of this feature is near.

Just yesterday, we wrote that WhatsApp was working on adding a Sticker Maker and it's official. Starting today onwards, WhatsApp users can now make their own custom stickers but at the moment, it only works for WhatsApp Web for now.

Finally, WhatsApp might soon allow users to create custom stickers on the messaging platform. The feature gets spotted and shared by tipster Mukul Sharma in a few screenshots on making stickers using our own images. If nothing goes wrong, it might get released with the upcoming update.

The WhatsApp team has definitely been testing out a lot of new features lately. In this latest instalment, many of you are probably going to like this because they are now working on reaction notifications.

"Wait a minute...but we already have WhatsApp for desktop, right?" That's what we thought too, but the WhatsApp team is developing something far more than that. In case you didn't know, they are developing a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) for both Windows and macOS.
