Well, that escalated quickly. Just officially revealed last week in Spain, the Xiaomi Mi A2 has arrived safe and sound into Malaysia for the price of RM1199 (6GB + 128GB) and RM999 (4GB + 64GB) respectively. Customers will be able both variants at the Mi Store in KLCC and their online store too in Lazada on 3 August 2018. The rest of the Mi Stores in Malaysia will start selling it on the next day (4 August 2018).

Xiaomi has announced the launch of their Xiaomi Mi A2 price starting from €249(~RM1181), and the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite starting from €179(~RM849) in Spain as part of their Android One lineup of devices. In terms of tech specs, the Xiaomi Mi A2 is running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB internal storage, 12MP + 20MP rear dual camera, 20MP front facing selfie camera, 5.99-inch display, 4000mAh non-removable battery.

Remember about the Xiaomi Global Launch for this month? Well, turns out that the event will be held in Spain on 24 July and that's just less than two weeks away. Finally, after a few weeks of Xiaomi Mi 6X speculations, Xiaomi has officially released the launching date for the device on 25 April 2018. Unfortunately, it's not for us Malaysians but the China market. The teaser also didn't really mention it's the Mi 6X, though, but it's quite likely that it is. Aside from that, the Mi A2 is rumoured to appear alongside as well.
