Update - Xiaomi finally announced the 80W wireless charging device!

Just a few hours ago, Xiaomi sent out a teaser on their upcoming wireless charging technology. Although we have not seen any official news about it yet, online leakster @UniverseIce apparently got his hands on the company's latest 80W wireless charging poster and posted it on his Twitter account.

Looks like Maxis has finally rolled out the VoLTE feature, which is now available in Malaysia starting from today onwards. With that said, it is best to note that only select smartphones support VoLTE for now with possibly more coming in the future.

Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that Xiaomi’s sub-brand Youpin has recently unveiled the Dabai super-power ion smart toilet that’s also voice-activated at the price of RMB3599 (~RM2221). However, due to the fact that it was crowdfunded, the smart toilet will go on sale for a cheaper price of RMB2288 (~RM1411) for a limited time.

So here's some juicy rumour news, Reuters has reported that Huawei is currently meeting with Digital China Group Co Ltd about selling parts of its HONOR smartphone unit to potential buyers. Should it be true and successful, the deal could go up to 25 billion Yuan (~RM15.4 billion).

With our focus on mobile devices, it only makes sense that we'd be interested in how brands are performing. For the smartphone market, a recent report has plenty of info for us to chew over. We can't deny the fact that Xiaomi's design team is filled with creative people. It is said because they have been trying out all sorts of design when it comes to smartphones. From folding devices to pop-up cameras, they have done it all with fresh and awesome ideas. Now, they are moving forward again with a smartphone that can be folded in a Z shape, or should we say a tablet?

When it comes to smartphones, you do see 64MP camera sensors on mid-range devices. You wouldn't normally expect a 108MP camera sensor to be installed on a mid-range smartphone. But that could actually happen, claimed a source from Weibo.
