Today, vivo Malaysia is excited to introduce their latest and craziest smartphone yet - the vivo V17 Pro which has six cameras in total by having a quad rear camera and dual front camera. The price was also revealed to be RM1699 and here's everything you need to know about the smartphone.

The pre-order will start today (1 October) until 4 October and it will be available on Lazada and Shopee. For Lazada, customers will get a mystery gift worth RM318 whereas those who get it on Shopee, will get an extra portable electric juicer. Of course, you can also pre-order it on vivo's official online store

One thing to note about the smartphone is that is not the same as the one released in India. For starters, the quad rear camera on the local set consists of a 48MP (f/1.8, main) + 8MP (f/2.2, super-wide) + 2MP (bokeh) + 2MP (super macro), so we are missing out the 13MP telephoto lens there. On the front, the dual front camera setup is hanging out at the pop-up mechanism with a 32MP (f/2.0, main) + 8MP (f/2.2, super-wide) combo. There's also a hidden face unlock sensor in between and an earpiece.

By having a pop-up camera, this allows the V17 Pro to have a fullscreen AMOLED display measuring 6.44-inches (FHD+). It's running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage, 4100mAh battery pack with an 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charge support, and FunTouch OS 9.1 (based on Android 9.0) out of the box.
