Apple has done it again, first they removed the audio jack, added the notch, then removing charging adapters in the box. It's ironic indeed, this is because other Android brands followed the company's footsteps and rumours have it that Huawei may the next one in removing Type-C charging cables.

So why do we think so? Well, it was first reported in China that some users have been getting a survey by Huawei about their wireless headphone charging habit. From the survey, one of the questions asked: “Do you think the Type-C charging cable in the wireless headset box is necessary”. It may seem like an innocent question, after all, most wireless headphone products don't really come with a charging adapter but this is the Type-C charging cable we are talking about.

In addition to the survey, Huawei also asked the participants about at which price point do they prefer for a wireless headset, when do they usually get a new one, thoughts on not having a Type-C charging cable and how much would it affect their purchase decisions. Just so you know, Apple just recently did a similar survey on asking the participants about preferring Touch ID or Face ID, as well as not shipping the EarPods and charging adapter in this year's iPhone 12 series boxes.

Rumours have it that Samsung might actually go down the same path as Apple too. What's more, the Korean tech giant has taken down their Facebook post on mocking Apple for not having a charging adapter. But what do you folks really? Do you really use the cables or charging adapter when you get a new phone? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
