With the reveal of the Apple iPhone SE, iOS 9.3 was also released publicly through iTunes and all iOS 9 users as an over-the-air update. There are quite a few updates from iOS 9.3, but we will be taking a look at the main feature of the update – Night Shift.

As explained in the video, the Night Shift mode is designed to shift the light on the screen depending on the environment. For example, the screen will display a warmer (yellow) colour spectrum if the user is out on an evening walk, or light-ish blue when in indoors with white lights. This is a pretty good way to not only save your phone's energy, but it's also good for your eyes in the long term.

To turn on Night Shift, users need to go to Settings → Display and Brightness and the Night Shift mode should be displayed there. It can also be toggled on the Control Center with it being in the middle that's shaped like a sun (see picture above).

Also keep in mind, although iPhone 4s and above can be updated with iOS 9.3; Night Shift is only available on iPhone 5s onwards (bummer, I know). Stay tuned for more news at Technave.com as await for the day when the iPhone SE arrives in Malaysia!
