If you're a graphics designer or artist, you probably spend quite a bit on PC equipment to help you with your work. This isn't just limited to devices like drawing tablets or pen styluses. Your monitor is just as important, and ASUS has a new one that can fit your needs.

For instance, the new ASUS ProArt PA148CTV was just released today. This is a portable 14-inch IPS display that has Full HD resolution, an anti-glare coating, and supports 10-point capacitive multi-touch. It's also the first portable monitor that's Calman Verified, offering a colour gamut of 100% sRGB and 100% Rec. 709. On top of that, it is factory pre‑calibrated with a Delta E < 2 colour difference for top-tier colour accuracy. Basically, this is similar to the ROG Strix XG17 we reviewed last year, except that model is more for entertainment.

The dial is compatible with Adobe software

In terms of features, the ProArt PA148CTV comes with the ASUS Dial and Virtual Control Panel. Both features are compatible with Adobe software, allowing you to make use of their controls and shortcuts to streamline your workflow. As for physical features, this monitor comes with a micro HDMI port, two USB-C ports, a kickstand, and a tripod socket. Thanks to the I/O ports, you can easily connect it to devices like tablets and laptops.

As you would imagine, this can be incredibly useful when you need to show your work to a client and need them to see the colours with high accuracy. ASUS has confirmed that this model is now available in Malaysia for RM1888. But with that said, is this something you'd be interested in?
