From our news yesterday, we reported that the ASUS ROG Phone 3 might be featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset and this was the first time that we heard of the new chipset. If you see a + sign behind, you know it's going to be a stronger variant and Geekbench already has the scoresheet from benchmarking the processor.

According to Geekbench, the difference between the SD 865 and 865+ is present. From the single-core score, they tested the Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G and an ASUS model called ZF (which we believe it to be the ROG Phone 3). From the benchmark score, the latter achieved 973 points as compared to Samsung's 891 which is a major improvement. However, that cannot be said the same for the multi-core score as both have similar points range.

Reports are saying that the SD 865+ chipset has a clocking speed of 3.1GHz and it's the prime core. Furthermore, the ROG Phone 3 is also equipping 16GB of RAM from Geekbench's chart and it's running on Android 10 out of the box. By the way, the upcoming gaming flagship also has a score from AnTuTu which is over 640K points. You can read the rest of the tech specs here.

We are pretty excited for the ROG Phone 3 and we can't wait to see how power overwhelming it can be. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
