ASUS has officially unveiled the ASUS ROG Phone 3 series, which consists of the ASUS ROG Phone 3, as well as the ASUS ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition starting from the price of 999 Euros (~RM4921) and 799 Euros (~RM3935) respectively. As of now, there's no official information in regards to the Malaysia release date and local pricing for now.

In terms of the tech specs, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of internal storage, 6.59-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED HDR10+ certified display and a 6000mAh internal battery which supports up to 30W fast charging. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, on the other hand, comes equipped with largely the same specs except for the chipset which is a Snapdragon 865 5G, up to 8GB of RAM, and only up to 256GB of internal storage. In addition to that, the ROG Phone 3 series has many notable features such as the AirTrigger 3, which allows the users to comfortably input commands like abilities, shoot, reload, and more without the need to perform finger gymnastics on the display.

But that’s not all, the new and improved AirTrigger functionality now allows different kinds of inputs including swiping, sliding, as well as customizing the trigger zone to give users up to four triggers to play around with. Other than that, there’s also the GameFX which allows the device to provide much higher quality and immersive sound thanks to the 7 magnets embedded in the smartphone.

In order to keep the phone cool especially when running the most hardware demanding games out there, it has the ROG GameCool 3 System which features a 3D vapour chamber design as well as a heat sink that is 6 times larger than the ROG Phone 2. Thanks to the 6000mAh internal battery, ASUS claims that the ASUS ROG Phone 3 series with 30W fast charging is able to charge a completely drained phone to 4510mAh faster than a smartphone equipped with a 4510mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

Other than smartphones, ASUS also unveiled several new accessories such as the AeroActive Cooler 3 to help cool down the phone as well as provide additional I/O options, ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad for better controls, TwinView Dock 3 for dual 144Hz display, and more. To shed light on the ROG Kunai 3, the gamepad is able to be customized to have different grips to suit your needs and it’s able to be directly connected to the phone or via Bluetooth connection for up to 8 hours.
