ASUS ROG Phone 8 scores revealed on GeekBench and AnTuTu - Official scores are looking good for the new flagship

Previously, we mentioned the ASUS ROG Phone 8 will be revealed in China on 16 January 2024. Today, official AntuTu and GeekBench scores for the device have been revealed. So, what should you know about it?

According to ASUS, the phone scored a whopping 2,359,969 on AnTuTu benchmarks. Meanwhile, the same device scored 7422 points in the multi-core test. There are no details on the single-core test, but we could assume the phone did well on that subject.

To recap, the ROG Phone 8 series could feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 24GB RAM and a maximum of 1TB storage. Interestingly, these phones could feature a 5500 mAh battery life and support the Quick Charge 5.0. Plus, the phone was spotted with a more minimalistic design compared to its predecessors.

Moreover, it could sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with an FHD+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, up to 2,500 units of brightness, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It could also feature a Gorilla Glass Victus protection for better endurance. Camera-wise, it could come with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera,13MP Ultra-Wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto camera complete with 3x zoom.

We have yet to confirm other details on the device tech specs or the Malaysia release date. As of now, we should wait for further confirmation from ASUS. You might want to save up for it
