Just before the week got busy, ASUS laid the first cracker by revealing the ROG Phone 2. This gaming smartphone beast is a much-improved version from the predecessor featuring high-end tech specs and with today's official launching, the official price tag will start from 3499 Yuan (~RM2093).

Just like the first ROG Phone, there will be four variants which are the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 512GB model for 5999 Yuan (~RM3588). There are also two other variants which seem to be a premium set (tech specs unknown) and a bundle package for 7999 Yuan and 12,999 Yuan respectively (~RM4784 and ~RM7775). Looking back at when the first ROG Phone was released in Malaysia, the price point is more or less the same but the highest variant could be slightly more expensive this time since there's an overkill 12GB of RAM on board now, as well as the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset and that 6000mAh battery pack. Only time will tell.

In case if you missed out our news report yesterday, other tech specs include a 6.59-inch AMOLED display + 120Hz refresh rate, a dual 48MP + 13MP rear camera, a 24MP front camera and many more which you can read all about it here.
