ASUS Republic of Gamers to sponsor League of Legends 2017 Rift Rivals tournament

Today, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that they will be the official hardware sponsors for the upcoming League of Legends (LoL) 2017 Rift Rivals tournament. The eSports event wll be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 6-9 July 2017 comprising of regional teams from LoL Champions Korea (LCK), LoL Pro League (LPL) and LoL Master Series (LMS) divisions against one another.  This includes ROG-sponsored teams SK Telecom T1, ahq e-Sports Club and J Team. 

During the tournament, ROG will showcase a variety of the latest gaming products, including ROG Zephyrus, the world’s slimmest gaming laptop; ROG Strix Hero Edition, a gaming laptop built especially for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) gaming; and ROG PG248Q, a competition-grade gaming monitor designed especially for esports.

In addition to the latest ROG gaming products, 90 gaming PCs created by local system builders as part of the Powered by ASUS (PBA) program will be on display and used by competitors during the Rift Rivals tournament. The PBA gaming PCs used in the tournament feature the ASUS Prime Z270-AR motherboard and ASUS Dual Series GeForce GTX 1070 OC edition graphics card.
