ASUS is on a roll for laptops these days. Not long after it launched its new Intel-powered VivoBook S14 and S15 in Malaysia, the company confirmed that the ZenBook 13 (UX325) and ZenBook 14 (UX425) will be launching here around the end of July 2020.

The latest iteration of the ASUS ZenBook 13 and 14 are even slimmer than before. It's got a thickness of 13.9mm compared to the 17.9mm for last year's model, yet the two machines still sport one USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt support, a full-sized HDMI port, and a microSD card slot. Interestingly enough, ASUS made the bold decision of ditching the 3.5mm audio jack but included an adapter for those who haven't converted to using wireless audio headsets.

In terms of specs, both models come with up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7-1065G7 CPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB of SSD storage. It also has a rather beefy 67Wh battery that can last up to 22 hours on a full charge, as well as support for Intel WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0.
Another interesting feature is the MyASUS integration, which provides useful functions like system diagnosis or mobile device linking for hands-free calls.

We did a quick check and found that ASUS has already listed the ZenBook 14 in Singapore. The Intel Core i5 variant costs SGD 1398 (~RM4301), while the Intel Core i7 variant is priced at SGD 1698 (~RM5224). Honestly, that's a rather good price and we hope it's around that ballpark range when it comes to Malaysia.
