So apparently, ASUS Malaysia has released a teaser image on their Facebook page announcing another budget-friendly device coming soon. It's none other than the ASUS ZenFone Max (M2), the younger sibling to the current ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 and it's slated to be released on 11 January 2019.

So are there any differences between the two devices? Well, since both of them were already introduced in Indonesia last year (December 2018), the ZenFone Max (M2) features a less superior mid-range processor - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, its GPU is also not the same as the Adreno 506 is found on board. As for memory capacity, it's lesser compared to the latter, using only 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage but at least you can still have expandable storage of 512GB via microSD card.

The battery size has also been minimized, albeit still larger than most smartphones in the current market with 4000mAh. The camera setup is not same as well using a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera, while the front is an 8MP sensor on the notch. Display size is the same, though, measuring at 6.3-inches but it's not likely to be equipped with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

So how much do you think it will cost? For us, it will definitely cost below RM849 (lol abuden) so until then, stay tuned for more ASUS news at TechNave.com.
