As previously rumoured, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 showed up in India and comes with a super affordable price tag. Coming in Deepsea Blue and Gray for three model variants based on memory, the 3GB + 32GB model is 10,999 Rupee (~RM644), followed by 4GB + 64GB for 12,999 Rupee (~RM761) and last one, 6GB + 64GB (together with the 16MP camera) for 14,999 Rupee (~RM879).

While it looks kind of entry-level because of the price, you'd be surprised to know that the specs are actually mid-range. What's more, the body has a 2.5D curved glass on the front and thank the heavens that there's no notch to be seen too. It should be noted that this will be ASUS' first pure stock Android phone too, so that's something to look forward to!

Most of the rumoured tech-specs hit the jackpot as well, so without further ado, below is the official tech-specs of the ZenFone Max Pro M1:

  • Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 processor
  • 3GB,4GB and 6GB of RAM
  • 32GB and 64GB internal storage (expandable memory available up to 2TB)
  • Measures 159 x 76 x 8.61 mm, weighs 180g
  • 6.0-inch Full View display (1080p)
  • 13MP or 16MP (f/2.2, PDAF) + 5MP dual rear camera, 8MP front camera (softlight LED)
  • Features Fingerprint Scanner, Face Unlock, Triple SIM slot, Fast Charging, 4K video recording, microUSB 2.0, NXP smart amplifier
  • Supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0
  • Android 8.1 Oreo
  • 5000mAh battery

We also mentioned about the 5-magnet speaker and NXP smart amplifier before, which comes together with the device. In order to bring out its full sound quality potential by double, ASUS apparently made an accessory called the Max Box but very little is known about it, including the price and availability.

Also, a little bird told us that it's probably coming to Malaysia too. How much do you think it will cost? Take a wild guess and let us know in the comments below. Until then, stay tuned for more ASUS news at TechNave.com.
