So yesterday, we managed to get our hands on the upcoming ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2. While we are restricted from showing you any official hands-on photos of the smartphone, we can tell you that most of the rumoured tech specs online are true, and some juicy news on the speculated price tag.

To recap the tech specs from popular leakster Roland Quandt from Twitter, the ZenFone Max Pro M2 will sport a slightly bigger LCD display than its predecessor at 6.3-inch with a notch on top with 1080p. The processor also got an upgrade, going for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and it could go up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB memory storage, with the latest Android Oreo out of the box. For the dual camera setup behind, it features a 13MP + 5MP while the front camera gets 8MP.

Perhaps the best highlight of the tech spec is the fact that there is a 5000mAh battery pack inside the phone. That's a big bonus for budget gamers who would like to go on a gaming marathon and it's also worth mentioning that from the concept render, that's probably how the final look will be.

According to sources, the ZenFone Max Pro M2 variants could start from 280 euros (~RM1318, 4GB + 64GB) and 300 euros (~RM1413). Knowing European prices is usually higher than Malaysia's, there's a good chance that it will just cost around RM1K more or less. Until then, stay tuned for more ASUS news at TechNave.com.
