Just a few hours ago, ASUS released the Zenfone 10 and it's priced at $799 (~RM3740). There's no word if the phone would make it to Malaysia, but ASUS said it will be available by the end of Q3 2023.
Compared with the predecessor, the specifications and features are more or less the same. The obvious upgrade will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset as well as having a bigger memory capacity at 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The front camera also got an upgrade, from the previous 12MP to 32MP.
Other than that, other features have minimal changes. The phone still has the same 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display but with up to 144Hz refresh rate, Android 13 out of the box, and a 4300mAh battery with 30W and 15W charging speed for wired and wireless respectively. The main camera remains at 50MP and its ultrawide got bumped up a bit to 13MP (from 12MP).
The Zenfone 10 also has more colour variants than before, coming in Aurora Green, Eclipse Red, and Starry Blue as well as the classic Midnight Black and Comet White. Sources reported that there will be a 16GB + 512GB variant too in the future but we shall wait and see.
