ASUS has recently announced that it is opening up an Android 13 beta programme for the ASUS Zenfone 9. The first smartphone within ASUS’ lineup to start testing the latest Android OS, the Zenfone 9 was released in late July and officially runs on Android 12.

For owners of the Zenfone 9, you can easily enrol for the beta programme by going to your device’s settings. According to a post on ASUS ZenTalk, all you have to do is go to Settings, select System and then System Update. Afterwards, click the gear icon on the top-right corner and select ‘Enroll in the Beta Test Programme”.

After that, agree to the terms and conditions, sign up for the ASUS member account (if you’re not a member yet) and fill in the beta test application before submitting. ASUS will then notify you via email should your request be accepted and enjoy testing Android 13 on your device!

Of course, it goes without saying that the beta version may have bugs and could affect your experience using your beloved Zenfone 9. Well, that’s the price to pay to be one of the few non-Google Pixel users to use Android 13 before everyone else I suppose.
