We have already written some news about a potential collaboration between Xbox and ROG on making a new PC gaming handheld controller. Today, ASUS ROG posted a new teaser about it, officially confirming the existence of such a product.

On ROG Global's social account on X, the short teaser showed a robot designing a blueprint of what we can expect. It wrote "Marathon stamina"(most likely the battery), more capacity (memory), faster speeds and a fresh look. After that, the robot went into a capsule but the ROG Ally and ROG gaming controller also "accidentally" made the jump into it.

ROG didn't show much of the new "Xbox" gaming handheld controller, but we think it shouldn't look too different from other known PC gaming handheld controllers. It will definitely have RGB lighting under the thumbsticks. In addition, rumours have it that the design will "scream" Xbox, so that's something to look forward to if it's true.

Interestingly, ROG posted this today on April Fool's Day, which the company is known to annually make jokes about outrageous but hilarious products. Also, it could be a nod before Nintendo unveils more details about the anticipated Switch 2 tomorrow (2 April).
