Seems like brands are all looking to unveil their new Chromebooks. After Samsung's reveal of the Galaxy Chromebook 2, Acer is following up with the Chromebook Spin 514 and Chromebook Enterprise Spin 514 laptops.
According to Acer, this is their first Chromebook series to feature the AMD Ryzen 3000 C-series mobile CPUs. Specifically, you can pick configurations with either the Ryzen 7 3700C or Ryzen 5 3500C CPUs, which both come equipped with a built-in AMD Radeon Vega GPU. The laptops could also have up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. Besides that, they are expected to have up to 10 hours of battery life.

As for features, the two variants are essentially the same, though the Enterprise variant has some extra security and enterprise features like the zero-touch enrollment. On the more general side, there's the laptop's convertible 2-in-1 design, allowing users to use its touchscreen display for entertainment or work.
For the average user, the Acer Chromebook Spin 514 is quite affordable with a starting price of USD 479.99 (~RM1941). We're not too sure if Acer Malaysia plans to launch it here though, so keep an eye out for our updates here on TechNave.com to find out!
