Today, Acer Malaysia is introducing the arrival of the Nitro 5. Priced at RM5699, customers who purchase this version between 5 and 9 July 2021 from Acer official and certified stores in Shopee and Lazada will be entitled to a free Acer Gateway FAE-i5 pro Wireless Earphones worth RM239.
For your information, the previous Nitro 5 that was released back in April (read our review here) was the AMD version. So for this variant, it is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core Tiger Lake-H mobile processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. Moreover, it comes with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD that can definitely handle most triple-A video game titles and content creation.
If you want to add in more RAM and storage capacity, the new Acer Nitro 5 can support up to 32GB RAM and an additional M.2 slot for a 2.5-inch SATA expansion storage upgrade. The 15.6-inch IPS FHD display supports up to 144Hz refresh rate and 72% NTSC colour gamut. For connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet (RJ-45) port with Killer Ethernet E2600 support.
On top of that, other features include the pre-installed NitroSense key where users can instantly monitor system temperatures, loading performance, adjust fan speeds and customize the 4-zone RGB keyboard. By the way, the Acer Nitro 5 with Intel Core i5-11400H and 8GB RAM priced at RM4799 will be available in Malaysia at the end of July 2021.
The Nitro 5 Intel version is already available immediately at all Acer official online stores and all Acer authorized resellers nationwide. In conjunction with 7.7 Mid-Year Sales (read our compilation list here), Acer Malaysia also is offering up to 50% discount for select Acer products in Acer official and certified stores in Shopee and Lazada.
