Acer recently announced their updated Predator Helios 18 AI laptop for top-of-the-line gaming at Computex 2026. Featuring a massive dual-mode 18-inch Mini LED display, NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics and Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor, it’s a desktop replacement gaming setup that should satisfy all gamers. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but it is expected to arrive in August 2026.

The 18-inch Mini LED display’s "Dual-Mode" design lets you switch seamlessly between a 4K resolution at 120 Hz to a Full HD at 240 Hz. It also offers HDR mode and Calman Verified color accuracy with 100% DCI-P3 coverage.

If you can afford it, the laptop can support up to 256GB of RAM and 6TB of storage. The laptop keeps cool with dual 6th Gen Predator AeroBlade 3D Fans with 100 of the world’s thinnest metal fan blades that adjust dynamically to increase airflow.
Acer have also put in their patented Predator Vox audio tech over the 6 speaker system for HiFi nearfield audio. It also has Wi-Fi 7 BE1750x and Intel Ethernet E5000B connectivity with 2 Thunderbolt 5 ports. As usual of a gaming laptop, it also has dynamic RGB lighting and Predator MagKey 4.0 mechanical switches for the keyboard.
