Besides the Acer Nitro 14 and Nitro 16, Acer also announced the new Acer Predator Helios Neo 14 and Nitro 16 with Intel Core 14th Gen Processors and AI-driven advancements. They have yet to arrive in the Malaysian market but here are the details that you should know.
The new Predator Helios Neo 14 is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H with dedicated AI acceleration capabilities, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU that supports AI-powered DLSS 3.5. Showcasing up to a WQXGA (3072x1920) display option at 165 Hz, 100% support for the sRGB colour spectrum, and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, this ensures gamers can fully maximize the device and maintain top performance.
Also equipped with state-of-the-art thermal solutions; A dual-fan system that includes a 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan and Vortex Flow technology, liquid metal grease on the CPU, and broad vector heat pipes for better heat transfer and thermal capacity. It also comes with an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E connection, a full-function USB Type-C with ThunderBolt 4 port, and a MicroSD card reader. Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0, Acer PurifiedView and Copilot are also available.
On the other hand, the Nitro 16 Intel variant has been upgraded with up to an Intel Core i7 14700HX processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU. Powered by NVIDIA’s RTX AI platform, the Nitro 16 also offers over 500 AI-powered games and applications which can be enjoyed on its 16-inch WQXGA (2560x1600) panel with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour spectrum support. Like the other new laptops, this Nitro 16 sports a dual-fan, quad-intake, and quad-exhaust cooling system, Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro, dual USB Type-C with ThunderBolt 4 ports, and a MicroSD card reader as well.
As aforementioned, the laptops aren't in Malaysia yet but here are the official prices and availability for other countries first.
- The Predator Helios Neo 14 (PHN14-51) will be available in North America in May, starting at USD 1,799.99, and in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 1,999.
- The Acer Nitro 16 (AN16-73) will be available in North America in May, starting at USD 1,399.99, and in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 1,599.
