Earlier, we introduced a refreshed version of the Acer Swift Edge 16 laptop. But that's not the only product Acer plans to unveil at the upcoming Computex 2023. The company will also be revealing its latest gaming laptops, including the Acer Predator Triton 16.

The new Predator Triton 16 (PT16-51) comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, and up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM (5200MHz). With all that hardware, this laptop is powerful enough to play all of the latest AAA games at Ultra settings. It also combines two 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans and Acer's Vortex Flow optimisation for better thermal control. Acer even used liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU.

Besides the above, the Predator Triton 16 will have a large 16-inch WQXGA 2560 x 1600 IPS screen. This display will have a blistering 240Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, NVIDIA Advanced Optimus support and G-SYNC support. The laptop will also feature a PredatorSense shortcut key and plenty of I/O ports. This includes an Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro Ethernet, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, one Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support, and a MicroSD card reader.

Again, Acer Malaysia has updated the Predator Triton 16 product page with details of the refreshed model. If you're interested, check that out for more details. As for pricing, the laptop will retail in the US for USD 1800 (~RM8349). That's not the highest price tag we've seen for a high-end gaming laptop, but whether the chassis can really handle the heat generated remains to be seen.
