For most PC brands, CES 2022 was the time to show off their new products. It's the same for Acer, which unveiled new laptops, desktops, monitors, and more at the event. What the company didn't announce at the time was a new Swift 5 model, which was unveiled at the Virtual Immersive Experience 2022 event.

According to Acer, the Acer Swift 5 2022 comes with a silver ion antimicrobial finish for the major touchpoints. This includes the touch-screen that's protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and the Ocean Glass touchpad. The display is a 14-inch QHD+ (16:10) aspect ratio) with thin bezels, offering a screen-to-body ratio of 92.2%.

On top of that, this laptop packs the latest 12th Gen Intel Core CPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. In terms of features, it is Intel Evo certified and supports fast charging for your mobile devices via a USB Type-C port. As for the price and availability, Acer hasn't announced them yet so don't expect this to be out anytime soon.

We still don't have the full specs and features list for the new Acer Swift 5, but we'll keep an eye out for the official product page. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this!
