The flood last week has affected many Malaysians. Some lost their homes while others who were more fortunate may have lost only their belongings or found them damaged. But replacing or repairing items like electronics isn't easy, so local companies have been offering flood relief programs.
Acer is the next with a flood relief program to help flood victims. If you have any Acer product that was damaged by the flood, you can repair it for free even if it's out of warranty. Acer Malaysia will also accept non-Acer devices, but a repair fee will be charged. Furthermore, if the device can't be repaired, Acer will offer a 20% discount so you can buy an Acer desktop/laptop from the Acer Malaysia e-store. This deal is valid till 31 December 2022, though some terms and conditions apply.
Besides that, OPPO Malaysia also has a flood relief program now. The company is offering 30% discounts on selected spare parts for OPPO smartphones. There will also be a 20% discount for courier service, for those who applied online for the send-in repair service. These two offers are available from 26 December 2021 to 31 January 2022.
