Acer unveils new Predator gaming and Nitro monitors, prices start from ~RM3638

While there are companies that will hold some products back for CES 2021, some will be unveiled earlier to generate interest and hype. But if the Acer Chromebooks earlier today aren't your thing, then how about new Predator and Nitro gaming monitors?

First up is the Predator XB273U, a 27-inch (2560x1440) display with a refresh rate of 275Hz (overclocked), 0.5ms response time, and 95% DCI-P3 colour spectrum. Then 31.5-inch Predator XB323QK, a 4K gaming monitor with 144Hz refresh rate, 90% DCI-P3 colour spectrum, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Finally, there's the Nitro XV282K, another 4K display that also has 144Hz refresh rate, 90% DCI-P3 colour spectrum, and an insane 100000000:1 contrast ratio.

In terms of features, both of the Predator monitors are TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certified. For that, it uses built-in features and settings (VisionCare 4.0) designed to reduce the strain on your eyes from long hours of gaming. Additionally, both come with Nvidia GSYNC support. As for the Nitro XV282K, it also has VisionCare 3.0 for reduced eye strain and AMD FreeSync support. You can read up the official announcement for extra details.

Acer will be showcasing these monitors at CES 2021, with retail prices at USD 1100 (~RM4447), USD 1200 (~RM4851), and USD 900 (~RM3638) respectively.
