(Left to Right) The Samsung Galaxy On7 and On5
Last week, images and tech specs of the Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 appeared in the company’s website but was quickly taken down for whatever reasons. But it’s back on the surface again in China’s Samsung website, this time it’s pretty safe to say that the two new upcoming products are official. Strangely, only the On7’s tech specs are fully shown officially. So here it goes:-
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor
- 1.5 GB RAM
- 8GB memory storage
- 5.5-inch with 720p TFT display
- 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm
- 13MP main camera and a 5MP fron camera
- Samsung Milk Music pre-installed
- 2G, 3G and 4G LTE support
- Available white and gold colours
- Android 5.1 Lollipop
- 3000 mAh battery
As for the On5 tech specs, this is what we have gathered so far though from our last report though it’s just speculation for now.
- 1.5GB RAM
- 8GB of total storage and a microSD slot
- 5-inch display with 720p resolution
- 142.3 x 72.1 x 8.5mm
- 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, 1080p video recording
- dual-SIM phone (microSIMs)
- LTE connectivity (TDD and FDD).
- Android (version unknown)
- 2600mAh battery (removable)
There are no official word on the smartphones’ release and price yet, but it’s expected to be below $200 (RM 849.79) for both since they were designed to be low-end devices and affordable to the customers (in China for now). Continue to keep a look out!
