Yesterday, we shared how the realme GT 7 Pro will sport a new solid-state hardware button ala the iPhone 16 series’ new ‘Camera Control’ feature. Now, it looks like the trend is catching on as Nubia is also including a similar hardware feature on its upcoming smartphone.
According to Android Authority which sourced Nubia president Ni Fei on Weibo, the feature would be added to the upcoming Nubia Z70 Ultra. In the post, Ni Fei confirmed that the upcoming device will feature a ‘more realistic’ camera button.
He added that the hardware button would employ a 2-stage key, allowing users to focus the shot by half-pressing the button. To capture a photo, users would need to fully press the button, which is similar to the iPhone 16 series and many dedicated cameras out there.
