The Road Transport Department (JPJ) director-general Datuk Rospiagos Taha has revealed that all services related to the department are expected to be available on the MyJPJ app by 2025. This is in line with JPJ’s target to go fully digital in two years’ time.

Released back in February 2023, the app is largely used for the implementation of the Digital Motor Vehicle License and Digital Private Malaysian Driving License by road users in our country. However, JPJ is aiming for more than just the two features above, with many other JPJ-related services already available on the app such as checking on summons, demerit points, bidding for plate numbers and more.

As reported by BERNAMA, all JPJ-related services will eventually be available on MyJPJ. However, Rospiagos said that when this can be achieved depends on how well the system built on the app works. He added that the department is currently in an interim phase and in the midst of implementing a pilot project for the renewal of Motor Vehicle Licenses and driver’s licenses among JPJ staff to assess the level of stability of the system developed through the app.
