As usual, Apple is notorious for not revealing the RAM figure in its iPhone presentation. So when a new iPhone model is released, it was only a matter of time before we found out about it. According to MacRumors.com, all four iPhone 14 models are confirmed to use 6GB of RAM.

So how did they find out? Well, it was just digging into the latest Xcode 14 beta files inside the iPhone 14 series. This marks the first time that all the models have the same RAM, unlike the predecessors where only the pro variants have 6GB of RAM while the mini and vanilla use 4GB of RAM.

There were speculations that the iPhone 14 Pro variants could use an LPDDR5 RAM but that is yet to be confirmed. So until then, it will take a little bit longer to discover the type of RAM after the iPhone 14 series go on sale. This goes the same for the battery packs, where we think it should be at least more than 3100mAh.

We recently did a breakdown of 7 "lacklustre" features on the iPhone 14 series that are actually improvements, at least from a technical point of view. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max pre-orders for the Malaysian market start on 16 September and they will be available on 23 September 2022. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus pre-orders will begin on the same day too. However, the iPhone 14's availability will come first on 23 September, followed by the iPhone 14 Plus on 7 October 2022.
