We managed to check out the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 hands-on at the launch event yesterday and found that yes, these are indeed the thinnest and lightest tablets from Samsung we've seen and held yet. At just 298g the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 feels like a toy for it's size and while the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a bit heavier at 467g it is still super light for how big and awesome looking the screens are on both tablets. Both come in dazzling white and titanium bronze, which more or less means white plastic with gold metallic trim and black plastic with gold metallic trim. The backside follows the same perforated design as the Samsung Galaxy S5. Build quality is very solid despite both feeling super light but we have to say that it felt more rounded than completely flat. The tablets are running Android 4.4.2 and as expected of them, the main feature is their Super AMOLED screens. Check out the pics and video in this article for yourself.
