Android 12 rollout map announced for Zenfone 8, Zenfone 7 and ROG Phone Series

Today, ASUS announced that the Android 12 upgrade will be available and coming soon to the Zenfone 8 series at the end of the year. Other ASUS smartphones are getting the upgrade as well so read on below to find out more if you're one of the users.

After the Zenfone 8 series in December 2021, the ROG Phone 5 and 5s series are next in line in Q1 2022 followed by the Zenfone 7 series and ROG Phone 3 series in the first half of 2022. For a complete list of ASUS phones getting Android 12, they are the Zenfone 8, Zenfone 8 Flip, Zenfone 7, Zenfone 7 Pro, ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro, ROG Phone 3 and ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition.

According to ASUS, Android 12 will bring battery, performance-management features as well as ZenUI-specific changes. This includes easier navigation, streamlined control panels, increased visibility for better control and more customisation options. Of course, the update also includes several major functional changes in Android 12 itself.
