Today, Electronics Arts (EA) has announced that they have delayed the plan to launch Apex Legends on mobile devices to a further date. Earlier this year, it was reported that the gaming company will be launching the mobile version of the popular game in late 2020, but it looks like it's not happening now.

The Chief Executive of EA, Andrew Wilson, stated that the mobile game has no plan for launching by the end of this year and will be landing in the 2022 fiscal year instead. With that said, it means that the game will be launching anytime from 1 April 2021 for financial reporting purposes.

Although EA is aiming to release the game by 2021, the saying implies that there are still possibilities for the Apex Legends Mobile ending up slipping into 2022 as well. Therefore, don't keep your hopes too high for anything yet until we get the next update.
