After just being released last May 2022, Apex Legends Mobile is set for complete shutdown on 1 May 2023. This surprising announcement comes from Respawn Entertainment, the company behind the mobile port of Apex Legends. They say this is because they cannot maintain the level of quality for the game experience and content due to factors beyond their control.
As of today, you can no longer buy in-game purchases at the in-game store. While we spotted it still available on Google Play today, Respawn Entertainment says that they will be removing the game from digital stores soon. Players who have installed the game can still play it for the next 90 days but there will be no refunds for any purchases made previously.
