Rumours of new MacBook Pro laptops from Apple appeared as early as February this year. Many of them are about the alleged Apple M1X chip. But a new rumour that popped up proves that the new models will have more than just a new chip.

According to @dylandkt, the new MacBook Pro models that are launching later this year would get a new 1080p webcam. On top of that, the new Apple M1X chip is accompanied by a new signal chip that should improve image quality. In other words, the new laptops could be good for video meetings or even streaming if you want to.

The leaker also claimed that Apple is aiming to upgrade its entire Mac lineup. As part of that, the new Apple iMacs launched a few weeks back already feature the new 1080p camera. The upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops, as well as Mac Mini, should also be getting this upgrade.

Since many have to attend video meetings these days, webcams have definitely seen a resurgence in importance. However, is it really something you regularly use? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for further MacBook Pro updates.
