Today, Apple Malaysia has finally launched the new MacBook Air 15, Mac Studio M2 Max and M2 Ultra, and the Mac Pro. In this news article, the MacBook Air 15 can now be purchased at the Apple Malaysia website with a starting price of RM6199.
The RM6199 price tag is of course, referring to the MacBook Air 15 (8GB + 256GB) with the M2 processor and comes in all four colours (midnight, starlight, space grey and silver). If you want the 8GB + 512GB variant, that would be RM6999 and both come with free shipping. To your memory, the MacBook Air 15 is dubbed the world's thinnest 15-inch laptop, weighing 1.51kg only and measuring 11.5mm thin. Despite that, the laptop still packs up to 500 nits of brightness and support for 1 billion colours, twice the resolution and 25% brighter than a comparable PC laptop.
On top of that, you can also top up for more add-ons for a more powerful MacBook Air. For instance, you may get up to 24GB unified memory and up to 2TB SSD storage with RM1600 and RM3200 respectively. You can also choose to include Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for RM1299 and RM999.90 respectively, as well as a 35W Dual USB C or a 70W USB-C power adapter to your liking.
